ST-UPC SM Connector

The fiber optic connector features a screw-thread design that securely fits into the adapter, ensuring a stable connection. It consists of a nickel-plated brass body, a ceramic ferrule, spring, crimp barrel assembly, a crimp-over sleeve, and a protective rubber boot.

A fiber optic connector (or optical fiber connector) is used to terminate the end of a fiber optic cable, providing a quick and reliable alternative to splicing. By mechanically coupling and aligning the fiber cores, it enables efficient light transmission with minimal loss. High-quality connectors reduce reflection and misalignment, ensuring superior transmission reliability and overall system performance.
